About Dr. Burçin Beken
She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2007. She completed pediatrics residency at Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 2013 and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Trakya University in 2019. During her fellowship program, in 2018, she was mentored by Dr. Paloma Campo as a research fellow for 1 month at the “Regional Hospital of Málaga-Spain (IBIMA Research Institute)”, Malaga-Spain; on the field of nasal endoscopy, nasal lavage, acoustic rhinomanometry and allergen provocation tests.
In 2019, she successfully passed the European Accreditation for Pediatric Allergy- EAACI/UEMS Exam and received the “Certificate of Excellence”. She worked as the pediatric section representative of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Junior Member Assembly Board between 2019-2022. In 2022, she was elected as a board member for EAACI Pediatric Section to serve between 2022-2024. Between 219-2021 she worked as a Pediatric Allergy and Immunology specialist in Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. She has been working at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics since 2021.
